Because a chemical peel actively accelerates cell turnover, your skin barrier requires extra care during the renewal process (typically 3–7 days post-treatment)
Do NOT Pick or Peel the Skin: If your skin begins to flake or peel, let it shed naturally. Picking at loose skin can lead to hyperpigmentation, scarring, or infection.
Strict Active Ingredient Ban: Completely stop using Retinol, Tretinoin, Vitamin C, Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid, and any physical scrubs for 5 to 7 days post-peel, or until the skin feels completely normal.
Hydrate & Repair: Focus entirely on barrier repair. Apply generous amounts of soothing, hydrating serums and rich moisturizers multiple times a day to alleviate dryness or tightness.
Strict SPF 50+ Compliance: Your “new” skin is highly sensitive to the sun. Wear a broad-spectrum SPF 50+ every single day and reapply if outdoors. Avoid direct, prolonged sun exposure for at least one week.
No Swimming or Chlorine: Avoid swimming pools, spas, and chlorine water for 3 to 5 days, as chemicals can severely irritate the healing skin.
Mineral Makeup Only: We highly recommend avoiding heavy liquid foundations for the first 24–48 hours. If makeup is necessary, opt for a light, breathable mineral makeup
